They are cute and one of my bettas loves it but it was very difficult to get the base into the suction cup. I have no idea why this part of the product is so poorly designed but I had to use a toothpick to push them down to attach two of these to the suction cup. I have a rooster and he loves the hammock. He doesn't dangle from it though, preferring to use it as a lantern shade or something. Between that and his journal, it does the job. I had another hammock and I think this brand was different but judging from the first hammock I'm assuming it will be quite difficult to clean.
