Rubber Tips

I wish these tips were made out of silicone instead of hard plastic. Since I run about 5-6 miles twice a day, these rubber tips wear out very quickly.

Pros
  • An Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Operating Speed

Fits "Outdoor Products " poles

Direct replacement fits "Outdoor Products" poles. Very good on tarmac, good on gravel, moderate on gravel. They have a washer to prevent the carbide tip from piercing the rubber. great price thank you

Pros
  • Industry best
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Hard and slippery for trekking poles

I won't use them due to lack of grip as the rubber is very hard. I will send these back. If you're looking for hard plastic rubber tips, this might be a good option. They go perfectly with my Black Diamond Sticks.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Some bugs

Good fit and good price.

I don't have enough miles to speak of durability, but it looks like they should hold up. They fit my Easton sticks snugly and are very similar to the original tips I've worn. I am very happy with it and will buy it again.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Some minor issues

The price seems perfect I hope they continue to be excellent

Match the sticks closely! Let's just hope they last as long as the OEM tips. We don't walk in mud, and a sharp tip of a stick isn't suitable for the rocky foothills. These additional rubber tips are the perfect middle ground for our difficult terrain.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not the best option

NOT suitable for Black Diamond trekking poles.

Attention! NOT suitable for Black Diamond trekking poles. I will not leave a negative review because they look like high quality tips. They just don't match my Black Diamond trekking poles. The diameter of this tip is much larger than the diameter of the rod, so the rubber doesn't even make contact with the metal.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Protection

Just what I needed in camping

I wouldn't normally write a review so soon after delivery, but I used them on my old REI trekking poles on a rugged southeast Tennessee wilderness trail. New lugs cushioned the spring-loaded aluminum stays. The textured rubber offers good grip on slippery, rain-soaked rocks and streams. And the metal washer at the top assured me that the end of the rod wouldn't break. There didn't seem to be any wear and tear but there is something to grab a few spares.

Pros
  • weight
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

Additional hiking pole tips - just what I needed!

Sooner or later you will lose the rubber tips of your trekking poles. I recently lost both spikes while walking the boardwalk and the spikes fell off between the cracks in the boards. Replacement nibs from big name brands are an incredible rip off so this set of great value nibs is just what I needed! They fit most branded sticks just as snugly as the original sticks, and they're so cheap that if you lose one, it's okay to just install another one.

Pros
  • Easy assembly
Cons
  • Small things

Does not take long! - Outdoor Recreation

After looking below I put on new pads and you know what? Less than a month, I would say 2.5-3 weeks, I had to replace the pads AGAIN. I don't use it for long walks, it's a 20-30 meter walk ONCE a day and sometimes not. So even for the money these things cost, they're not worth much. If I could rate -10. Added a new image. Previous review: Have these for our hiking poles when we go trail or street trail. Looks and feels stable. Easy to install. After a month of use, I noticed that the tips wereโ€ฆ
