Disappointing Results from Aquarium Treatment

According to my experience, this product did not live up to its claims. While it did have a slight positive effect on my aquarium's water quality, it was not significant enough to justify the price. Additionally, the packaging was difficult to open and the product was messy to handle. Overall, I would not recommend this product to other pet owners in need of water treatments. There are better options available in the Pet Supplies section.

Pros
  • slight improvement in water quality
Cons
  • high price, messy packaging

Perfect! for fish and aquatic animals

Well this is one of those cases where the brand speaks for itself. Seachem is a world famous brand that produces the highest quality products. I love roosters, but I also love tetras and corridors that I have in my aquarium (roosters in my tanks). Since using Seachem PolyGuard and ParaGuard I very rarely lose a fish! This is really a worthwhile purchase!

Pros
  • 3 10g bottles of PolyGuard
Cons
  • Negative is present

My betta died after the first dose

This product was purchased to treat a betta with Saprolegnia fungus based on recommendations I found online. Before I put the first dose of PolyGuard in the water the fish were doing better, eating well and being very active in the tank. I have used many Seachem products in the past and have always been pleased with the results. Even though I followed the instructions exactly 6 hours later my fish was dead. I feel terrible about it. Based on my experience with other Seachem products, I assumed…

Pros
  • Treatment for freshwater and saltwater aquariums
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
