I have used these bags many times in combination with other brands and have found these bags repeatedly and randomly lose their seal. I thought my Seal-A-Meal machine that I've been using for years finally broke so I bought a stronger brand of Food Saver and I still have the problem of these bags losing their seal after they stayed for a while . I love these bags. I bought these after running out of the accessories that came with my food vacuum sealer. From the looks of them they are too big to fit in the built in food saver so I only rotated half of them to fit. Haven't tried boning anything yet, but it looks like it will hold up without worrying about a flat tire. These pouches seal fairly well with both dry and wet food.
