Light Padding - Office & School Supplies

It's thinner than I expected, but it's good for light and small items. The paper itself isn't as heavy as the typical kraft paper you find as filler in shipping boxes. However, it stretches well and provides minimal but decent cushioning. I make natural cosmetics and avoid plastic wherever I can, including in shipping packaging. I would reserve this for padding my glass bottles in the grocery boxes rather than stuffing the outer shipping box, in which case I'd look for something heavier.

Good pillow for light things.

I typically use bubble wrap and wrapping paper when shipping boxed collectibles that I sell in my small home business. This honeycomb design wrapping paper is too fragile for the items I usually sell. This special wrapping paper is better suited for lighter, fragile items like hand blown glass Christmas decorations when taken apart and layered properly. Bubble wrap or thick kraft paper. For cushioning or gift wrapping, not as effective as bubble wrap but better than regular paper

To get the most out of this honeycomb paper, unfold it so that the honeycombs become three-dimensional and then wrap it around the product. It's not as effective as bubble wrap (I think) as the honeycomb can collapse when wrapped. I also think it doesn't offer the same protection as bubble wrap. But if you're packing items for transportation, storage, or things that aren't easily scratched, that's fine. It is also very aesthetic and would go very well with rustic wrapping paper.
