Premium Desiccant Dehumidifiers by Packets Dry Review

I purchased this product to try and dry my iPhone that accidentally ended up in my sister's pool. Unfortunately, my well thought-out plan didn't work out, but not because of this product. Even though the Iphone 7Plus claims to be waterproof for up to 30 minutes at a depth of 1 meter, this is not the case with my phone. Less than 2 minutes in the water and he was dead, dead, dead. I'll be using these silicone crystals again for my next water disaster.

Bag of sachets has been sealed and vacuumed. I opened it up and inspected the packages and found none had been exposed to moisture. I currently use about 10/50 and the rest is sealed in a bag and stored in my humidity controlled safe. All in all the best value for money. These pouches are oversized and perfect for tossing in a toolbox, long-term storage of ammo in an airtight container, or anywhere storing something that could rust or spoil from moisture.

Love em. Nice zip pocket to keep sealed when not in use. I throw them in instrument cases (saxophones and guitars) so they don't go moldy. Also use them in weapon boxes, ammo boxes. We just grabbed some old family photo albums, books and records for my father-in-law, sealed them in plastic containers and threw a few in to minimize humidity. They're handy, and you won't know where to use them until you find a few. Once it runs out, I'll buy a new batch.
