Need another 5 minutes construction design.

Although sold for use with durable fairings, they require a lot of effort to finish. I had to find something in the garage to use as a spacer for the gecko sensor to pinch the siding. It has to be the perfect thickness or it will fall off and the fairing will collapse. Not good. One day I hastily attached a clamp that held until we very carefully installed the siding. There needs to be a way to adjust the thickness of the clip and not pull it off the wall. So close to being irreplaceable. Maybe

Pros
  • Durable test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Not perfect but very useful with some MacGyvering

I gave a very bad review at first. However, I am changing my rating based on how much time you can save by doing a little Macgyvering of this product. To solve the problem pointed out by a previous reviewer, I first attached a rubber band from one of the side screws under the arm and to the other side screw. This held enough tension to hold the sensor in place without pushing the board too far. Another problem I had was that I was using off the shelf boards which this product is not recommended

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires socket

Need work on sensor design

This product will be invaluable when installing HP Artisan bezels without support. However, it appears to be still in the prototype stage and doesn't quite match the design. Once engaged, the sensors pull the panel they are pressed against away from the panel below, making beveled corners difficult to properly install. In addition, once the sensors are secured in place, they detach from the inclined plane of the fairing, so when the Artisan fairing is placed on the support surface, it hardly…
