I have a big head, but not a huge one. I was looking for a big hat. This hat is HEAVY. Medium works best. It doesn't stretch well. The mask is useless because it barely covers the mouth and nose at the same time. If you can get used to just lying on your face and not grabbing your chin, maybe you can only use it outdoors to reduce the cold air.

Get this hat from a dog owner in upstate New York who has to endure inclement weather every day, no matter what! It's sooooo warm. It is comfortable. It's soft, well-made and a bit more stylish than a regular beanie. I now have 2 and have also gifted them to 2 other people who love them as much as I do. I'm seriously considering ordering a third one to upgrade my "emergency kit" in my car.

Everything I expected. The face mask obviously doesn't close around the entire neck like a heating pad or scarf. But the fact is that it is clearly visible that it is not that big. But IMO it covers my mouth and nose enough to be Covid approved and can also fit nicely over a typical 'tubular' neck and face warmer for added filter or warmth. The color is the same as the blue one I received. I would like photos to post, sorry.

Bought one of these last winter to use in our mountain cabin. It's WONDERFUL, warm, soft, fun! Every time my grown children came they tried to run away with my favorite hat. So this year Santa will bring each of them his own! Update (03/2021): Santa gave everyone these hats and the kids love it! I also bought a second one, one for the cabin adventure and the other for the cold season morning commute.

I have a large bean (size 7 5/8 baseball cap) and this floppy hat goes well with room to lounge! It's warm so may not be suitable for a chilly night but ideal for weather below 40 degrees. The soft lining is surprisingly comfortable and the outer lining feels durable enough. I don't often find thin hats that work well for this, so I ordered a second one in a different color to wear cross country skiing and snowshoeing. I recommend this cap for those with large crowns like me. Life is good!
