The colors were my main issue - some numbers like 21 and 17 were so translucent that they didn't cover the numbers after 3 coats. There isn't enough contrast between the colors, so a lot of detail is lost. A lot of work went into making sure the end product was that simple. I liked the process itself, but I didn't like the end result.

Colors cannot be diluted. I knew from the feedback that the lighter colors wouldn't cover the lines, but I didn't know that it was 80% of the image. Basically you have to paint most of it at least twice, but maybe not because there isn't enough paint for it anyway. My 10 year old quickly lost interest. I might finish it eventually, but there's no way it's going to look good enough to DJ.

I'm having such trouble with this paint by numbers, I've done others but this one has so many wrong shades. Some colors are transparent and brushes are not suitable for this, I would use my own. I honestly wasn't happy with the result, it wasn't what I expected at all, not to mention there were a few spaces with no number, so you'll have to guess and hope it works out well.

What a beautiful and relaxing project! Did this with my 11 year old and we had a great time. We've never done this before and it seems overwhelming. Take your time, it really is that comforting. However, we weren't striving for perfection, there are small details that are tiring, so we chose to enjoy the process and not worry about making mistakes, and that was fine. It takes time, which is what we expected. Just turn on classical music and enjoy.

High quality canvas, frame and paint that really covers the numbers and applies every brushstroke like silk. I finally found paint by numbers that matched their ad. I will definitely buy again. The paint is non-slurry and non-liquid, and the painting is on canvas, not on that trashy board that's warped. This is a great company and I am so happy with my picture! This will be a great gift. I brought the canvas unframed and as soon as I received the canvas I wish I had it framed. Good quality canvas and paint. Even the brushes are of good quality. However, I think the kit should have a thin long brush. The included brushes are not flimsy and thin enough for the fine details you need to paint. There are really little tight and narrow places to color in that I had to help out with a toothpick. And that's the only reason I don't rate it higher.

This is not my favorite color by number for several reasons: I ran out of at least 3 colors. The colors assigned by this company are too close together and do not show the details of the painting when completed. Some colors are not sufficiently pigmented and are very transparent. This requires multiple layers, which is a major challenge with PBN. There were a few errors in the instructions that were frustrating. For such a bright coloring, the line and numbers are orange and difficult to hide…
