It's definitely worth it!

I do a lot of drawings with diamonds and these were the best pens to pick up small diamonds for drawings. I really recommend it!

Pros
  • Looking forward to
Cons

Fragile Pens - Paint by Number Kits for Adults

The pens are beautiful but the wax tips are very fragile. One pen had its entire wax tip broken off on first use. Wax tips are good for gripping drill bits, but you can't apply pressure when placing them. You have to flip the handle and use the metal tip to place the square drill between the others.

Pros
  • This is something special
Cons
  • Style 90

Difficult to use or find replacement nibs

Felt tip pens are good but the more wax used the harder it is to place dots so drawing takes longer as you have to move them constantly. Place with the controller on the other side. It is also VERY difficult to find the CORRECT replacement nibs that fit these pens.

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Factor Set

Works perfectly! - Drawing, painting and craft items

Love it! They pick up drills very well. One thing I learned right away is that you have to be careful when picking up and placing drill bits. The end is chalk-like, so soft, and if you press hard some of it will rub off on the drill (although it rubs off nicely). You should. I recommend it! Nice not having to stop and refill the wax!

Update from previous review

I rated this pen on the first day of use. At first I thought it works well, but after further use it has its limits. The pen is like chalk, so the tip was too wide in many places in the drawing. This made it difficult to place the diamond without snagging on the surrounding diamonds. Maybe using a crayon sharpener to sharpen the tip would help? I am not sure. Also, the end will become "crumbly" with prolonged use, leading to delamination. This happens to me with regular wax, so it's ok because…

Not worth the money!

I am new to diamond painting and was looking for supplies when I came across these pens. They looked like they would be a good addition to my tools, although I thought the price was a bit steep. I ordered them and they arrived within a few days. They were in these nice clear plastic boxes but there were no instructions on how to use them. I finally figured out which end to use and they worked great initially. However, the more you use it, the wider and softer the tip becomes and it picks up too

Pros
  • paint by number kits
Cons
