I love this wool ironing rug!

As a quilt and bag maker I iron a lot and I love how using this wool rug makes ironing so much more enjoyable. I think my ironing board won't need to be replaced anymore if I put this on top. It feels good to press on thick fur and my press looks better. It's expensive, but it's something that will last almost forever, so it's worth the investment.

Im impressed with the absorbency

It arrived first in a large box giving the illusion of a much larger mat. Not a big deal, but it surprised me. I tried it right after opening it. I was amazed at how much steam comes out of my iron. The seams are really straight. Before making this rug I used a pine board with a layer of reflective fabric and a layer of cotton. I like this felted rug much better. The price is high, but even a small rug is worth its price.

Exactly what I was hoping for.

I bought a size up, I was afraid of regret if I didn't buy it and I'm glad I did. I use it almost exclusively for cutting. I've been considering buying one of the "press mats" to hold small parts securely while pressing and this mat does that and more. I was also worried (even after reading the reviews) that the heat from the iron would penetrate through the mat, but it didn't. I pressed the patch and held the iron on the product with my hand under the mat and I can say with confidence that you
