Pampered Chef 2430 Peeler Slicer Review

When you process as many apples as we do, a suction peeler just doesn't fit. It stops on the counter and hisses through the apples in no time. I've been using this scrub for 30 years now and can't imagine doing anything else.

This apple peeler and slicer works better than I expected and better than the 3 I've used before (although they were different brands). It was sold as used but was actually new as it had not been used before just a small crack in the foam.

I love this machine for peeling, coring and slicing apples. I made an apple pie, it only took 10-15 minutes to cook apples. It attaches to my counter without causing any damage. You should have a flat plate, e.g. a paper plate, to catch the apple slices. Cut the slices once as they spiral out. Cleans very easily.

Very disappointed when the product arrived. It was shown with the stand and I thought I bought it. Not happy when he didn't arrive. The product must be presented in this review as it is. That's not what I imagined when I bought it. Very expensive for just a peeler and no stand!

I had a similar device as a kid and wanted my kids to enjoy apples in a fun way. They eat more apples than if I just cut them. Easy to use, very well built and has some improvements over the one I had as a kid. I recommend this product if you love apples without a problem.

I was panicking when I pulled out my 10 year old apple peeler and the blades were so dull they didn't peel, core or slice the apples in the right way.
