Did the job for me.

The unit works perfectly and I have converted the home video clock from the VCR to digital format. I have a list of people who want to use my VCR and a dongle.

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • Slightly dented

Works great, corresponds to the description!

As previously mentioned, this VCR did not come with a remote control or manual, but that was not a problem for us. We only use it to play back old recordings of our family activities. It was great to see these photos from over 15 years ago. The packaging was very high quality (lots of bubble wrap!) and arrived a little earlier than we expected.

Pros
  • VCR
Cons
  • Obsolete model

Not new but just what I needed.

Well, what can I say. I finally decided to convert my old VHS tapes to DVD and BOTH VCRs in my house broke. They have not been used for over 10 years and no longer work. I didn't want to pay hundreds of dollars for a new VCR just to redo a few tapes, so I decided to buy something refurbished. So far, so good. I converted my first 30 year old cassette last night and the unit worked great. As long as that lasts, as long as I don't convert the rest of my tapes, I'm happy!

Pros
  • Television and video
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for older people
