Perfect Little Helper

When I tried this miniature workholding tool, I was amazed by how sturdy and strong it felt. It was easy to set up and adjust to hold even the smallest of pieces. It's great for hobbyists and professionals alike. The compact size makes it easy to store in a tool box or on a workbench without taking up too much space. The only downside is that it's not designed for heavier duty projects. Overall, it's a quality product that deserves recognition in the industrial and scientific world.

Pros
  • Compact and lightweight
Cons
  • No extension arms for increased reach

Immeasurably better than helping hands

My dad has been using this mini vise for over a year now Decade and I love it so much I finally had to get my own. Whether you are soldering, building models, working with small appliances, or assembling or painting small crafts, I would not recommend this vise. The plastic clips are soft enough not to damage most things and when I need guaranteed softness I just put a microfiber cloth between the clips and the item. The base is heavy enough that you don't have to screw it into anything, but…

Pros
  • Easy to use one hand grip controls head movement in 3 planes: 210 degree tilt, 360 degree rotation and 360 degree rotation
Cons
  • Large and bulky

Locksport Hook

I have 5 vices that were much more expensive than these. I use them for electronics and wood/metal work. I started picking locks (picking locks for fun, not for profit/crime). I had a much nicer vise that I used, but it didn't lean into the ball like this one, so my hands cramped. Since I like to sit and watch TV when I'm breaking in, I didn't want those prettier vises tied away from my workshop. That's where these vices come in. They're super adjustable and easily get custom angles that help…

Pros
  • Fine/coarse adjustment knob controls jaw pressure for fine work
