🐦 Featherland Paradise Cotton Snuggle Ring: A Cozy and Comfortable Perch for Birds in Cages Review

My blue and gold macaw loved the first one. That's the second because he took all the rope from the first. This fell apart after about 4 weeks on a metal ring. There is no surefire way to fix this. I ordered another one and it came already broken or the ring wasn't attached. I do not recommend.

Smaller than pictured, smaller than description and not quite suitable for Blue and Golden Macaw as shown in photo, descriptions and highlights in reviews are misleading and if you wanted a very large model I needed say it Even the dimensions aren't right. If the metal ring was 12 inches, everything would be fine. It's not like this.

I bought the large size, I read that the smaller size may be too small, I don't have the small. But I think a big cockatoo would be perfect for a small downy cockatoo. Time will tell how long this lasts, but birds love to chew so I'm pretty sure I'll have more. I have no issues with the fit and finish of this perch/toy. I'm sure the big one will fit my cockatiels too.

Not made from material shown in photo. Very deceptive. It will be crushed in no time. Why can't we get high quality cotton wreaths anymore? You pull on those strings and the mess lands all over the bottom of the cage. They are used to untangling the threads and blurring them. Mine would sleep in it. He spent hours "combing" his wreath. Whenever I order new bird toys the question is whether my two cockatiels will like it or not. This one was the winner. The ring is big enough for one or two to sit on if you have birds with small privacy bubbles. The model I received is a little more pastel than the one in the photo: pink rope instead of red, purple instead of maroon. The inner ring is nice and strong, and the ropes are packed so tightly that there is no problem with them twisting or separating on the pole.

I had to return this item as the ring was not connected. I bought it because I wanted to keep my gray parrot busy. I thought she could untie the knots in the ring. When it came in the mail and I saw it, I was just shocked by the way it looked. My bird would have disassembled it in half an hour or less considering how freely and cheaply it was assembled. The metal part was broken so I sent it back. It took forever for them to get my money back. But I got one. I will never buy another one again…

I ordered this expecting it to be at least 5 inches wide as stated in the title. Actually it was about 3 inches. I'm not sure even a hummingbird can fit in the middle as the rope is long enough that you can't even tell it's a ring until you slide part of it to the side.
