🔧 High-performance Portable Workbench by Park Tool - PB-1 Optimization for Enhanced Searchability Review

It's a little pricey for what it is, but as they say, it's sturdy and very functional. I wish it was $50 cheaper but I would buy it again at the price listed.

I like this bench very much. I pair it with a PC-10 with a 106 tool tray. It helps hold bits and loose items that I attach to the Park Tool's magnetic tray. There is enough space on the surface for use, so it can be used as a convenient portable table for other purposes.

First it's just a desktop. As you use it, you will see the benefits of the design. I also have a paper towel holder. Slots, holes and various recesses in the plastic plate allow all kinds of tools and devices to be accommodated. Due to the design, the liquid does not drain. It also folds into a flat block. Much better than "ordinary table".

This is the perfect size and style for me. It's stable. I will mainly use it on gravel. It's harder to set up than it needs to be, with those cloth suspenders and all. But it's normal. I like the binding around the edge so things don't fall on the floor. The entire table is light enough for me; although it is heavier than I expected. Park Tool has always been the best quality.

The surface of the table warps slightly in the summer sunlight (I can't imagine how much it will sag as you approach the 100lb weight limit as I haven't approached it close ) - now I'm trying to find a way to reinforce and straighten it with metal. Also, the T-clamps and straps, which do little to keep it together in an upright position, just flap around when folded - not quite sure if that adds any value. Those two issues aside, it's a very useful work stand and I love cup holders :-)
