Passive Ethernet Injector Splitter Connector Review

I use these injectors to rejuvenate some old non-POE cameras. These injectors are just what I needed to simplify cables.

I was skeptical about the purchase, since they only have one star rating. I'm using a couple of these now to power an IP camera and so far it's working great. The items are packed in pairs in a plastic bag. There are 10 plastic bags in a box.

As mentioned in previous reviews, one of the RJ-45 jacks had a broken locking tab. Since it wasn't in the bag I have to assume it was broken off before it was packed. Quality assurance by the seller / company. I will test all 10 to make sure they are properly connected and working. Paying for a product means you don't have to repair it when you receive it.

More than 50% of the ethernet connector clips were torn or crushed so they fell off on first use. Avoid if you want Ethernet to stay connected.

These adapters are well-made components, tight-fitting boots fit well. Overall I am very impressed with the value for money.

This item made it easy to install my non-PoE cameras. I was able to use one cable per camera and attach the injector and splitter to the ends of the cable and stem. Everything is connected.

They worked right out of the box. I installed six cameras and connected them to my network in about half an hour. This was my first time using the product but it worked flawlessly for me.
