Very important. Extend the life of old computers.

Used to upgrade an old Lenovo desktop that was starting to slow down. It seems like every time Windows 10 received a new update, things opened slower, took longer to start, and everything took longer overall. I decided to upgrade my current 4GB to 8GB but found that there were two empty DIMM slots so I just added those to get the full 12GB. Now everything goes faster. There wasn't as much slowdown as before, although start times don't seem to have changed much. But the whole workflow is faster,

Ram causing BSOD (Update: 28-02-19)

-Update: Just got a replacement in the mail. Installed and now it works perfectly. No BSOD, no errors, happy with the result. Upgrade to five stars for speed of service. I currently have 16GB of RAM and was looking to add another 8GB stick to my computer to bring it up to a healthy but redundant 24GB. I got the ram today, grounded myself and installed it in my computer. Everything was going fine for about 35 seconds and then my computer froze. Rebooted 3 times and crashed all 3 times. Pulled…

Respectable brand/performer.

It's not the fastest memory or the easiest to overclock, but it does match the flash drive that came already installed in my Cybertron Rhodium Ti desktop, so it was the easiest/cheapest choice up to 16GB and enable dual channel mode (which gives you a free speed boost if you have two sticks with the same SPD timings). Memory installation was hassle-free, and the BIOS automatically enabled dual-channel mode. When I ran Passmark PerformanceTest 9.0 again, the memory score went from 1084 to 1224…

Cheap RAM for cheap computers.

Bought a new HP desktop computer 8 years ago for $350. Until today it was 2 bars 2Gb-1200mhz. Took these 2 out, put this baby 8Gb-1600MHz in, fingers crossed and BAM! After an unusually long boot process, everything worked. I almost bought a new computer but figured why not spend $40 to see if I could speed this one up to make it bearable. Memory always showed more than 75% full and I couldn't help but feel like this was my bottleneck. We use a computer for QuickBooks online courses and have…

Works perfectly! Best Computer Components

I ordered this for my Cybertron desktop gaming computer. I bought the computer in 2015 but never bothered to update it because the games I played made very few demands on my system. 740. I contacted Cybertron to ask which of the many RAM options is correct and they referred a Patriot Signature 8GM DIMM DDR3 CL11 PC3-12800 (1600MHz). They also told me that I can buy it cheaper from Revain than from them. Ordered RAM, received it two days later and installed it straight away. I booted up my…
