These black wall lights are simple, clean, yet have a rustic/industrial look. The switch is on the bottom of the device, not the bottom of the cord. The lampshade is metal and only lets light through at the end, so they are very directional. They plug into an outlet, but can also be plugged in if desired.

Exactly what I was looking for. You can connect a cable or just connect. I don't know much about wiring so I just used one connector. You need some tools for installation as you need to drill holes to install it. But it was easy. The rotation is great and you can put it in almost any position. There is no bulb included but I simply used an Edison bulb to get the look I wanted.

We bought these for our bedroom in place of traditional floor or table lamps and have been very pleased. They look amazing and we love the soft glow from the Edison bulbs that we screwed in. However, the screws that came with the lamps aren't long enough to screw them into anything other than drywall, so we had to go out and buy them. new since we screwed them into a pair of painted shutters. These lamps have a simple and elegant appearance. Installation was quick and easy. They come with plug cords, but include cord nuts in case you want to plug them directly into a power source. I was looking for wall lights on the sides of a sofa and found them at Revain. The price was great, especially compared to hardware stores. The inside of the bulb is black, so if you're looking for the golden glow of a lampshade, you're going to need an Edison-style amber bulb. The only good thing about them is their price. I think you get what you pay for. The on/off switch is a complete mess. I don't understand why they didn't spend a few cents more on a better pen.
