Telescopic handle allows you to reach the bottom of 9 to 24 inch deep tank without dripping hands. Solid flexible handle built with 304 stainless steel won't get rust or bent. Excellent net for skimming small debris or leaves from marine aquarium and pools. Soft Fine Nylon netting reducing the risk of injury while transferring delicate fish, especially suitable for betta and newborn guppy. Frame size 6" W x 5" H with 4 inches deep pocket is great for up to 4 inch fishes. Hanging ring added on handle end so that it can be simply hang up when done.

The retractable handle will break apart over time.

Good size and comfortable grip while it lasts; used it to pull grass, hair and hay out of the water for our livestock. The retractable handle was perfect for removing debris from the bottom of a 70 gallon tub, but the "stop" on both retractable handle pieces broke and in order to use it I had to use tape in two places to secure the handle in one piece hold, and obviously it won't extend or retract anymore.

Well made and durable, this is the only mesh you need!

I have two very tall tanks and I always get wet when I need to catch a fish or two, but no more! This expandable network just works perfectly for me! It stretches well, is durable and easily maneuvers between plants and aquarium decorations. There is no such thing as sloppy fishing. I am now planning to buy a few more sizes of this chain because it certainly makes life easier!

Not strong enough for leaves

I didn't buy this for the fish in my aquarium but for the leaves in my small outdoor pond. These are mainly small and soft leaves and flowers of bougainvillea. I have to clean it at least once a week to keep the pump and pond clean. The net is big enough and the handle is long enough, but neither are strong enough for the purpose. I know it's not advertised for this purpose, but obviously it can be customized for this purpose. I believe it's good enough for its intended use, although the handle

INTRODUCED WRONG, NEVER ANSWERED

I ORDERED A 6 INCH NET, I HAVE A LARGE SEA FISH, WHEN IT ARRIVED IT WAS 4 INCHES TOO SMALL FOR MY NEED, COMPLAINTED TO AMAZON AND THE SELLER, NO RESPONSE. ADVERTISED 6 INCH NET, THIS IS NOT CLOSE TO 9 INCHES, I HAVE NOT TESTED TO FIND OUT IF IT IS EXTENDED BY 24 INCHES, IT IS MORE LIKE 12 INCHES. RUN FROM THIS PAWFLY MAKER, THEY WILL NOT REPLY. Good thing it's cheap, otherwise I'd be raising hell. I SURELY CAN'T USE THIS, I WILL FIND SOMEONE IN MY LFS WHO CAN USE THIS, THEY WILL GET A TRADEโ€ฆ

Absolute crap. 1 star is too high. This is a network. How damn hard is it to build a network that works.

The manufacturer has a job - to make a grate and they failed miserably. Problem 1 The dimensions don't match the grid size, it's 3 by 4. Problem 2 It has a telescoping handle that won't slide out. there are three parts, two of which slide, the third does not slide even with pliers. Won't give in. This is one of those products that deserves absolutely zero stars for being a basic cheap money fishing net that is absolutely untrue. China dumps all its garbage in the US and we buy it. This is notโ€ฆ
