Description of Pebeo Drawing Gum Marker: 🖌️ .7mm-Natural Latex Pen for Precision Artwork

CREATE WATERPROOF SURFACES: Pébéo drawing gum is a laminating drawing gum for working with ink, watercolour, gouache etc. Use this liquid gum on the parts of your work that you want to keep blank. HIGH-PRECISION MARKER: Apply your masking fluid rubber with ease with this handy felt pen. The 0. 7mm nib allows fine and clean continuous applications. QUALITY MARKER: The plastic wick of your Pébéo drawing gum marker does not break, resists repeated primers and does not fray, allowing you to make a precise drawing. Once your colours are dry, simply laminate the drawing gum with your finger or an eraser to uncover hidden areas that have not absorbed your paint or drawing ink. QUICK DRYING MASKING RUBBER: Once your liquid gum is dry, you can colour your work. The spare rubber for watercolour, ink or Pébéo gouache dries in just a few minutes. A MULTIUSAGE PRODUCT: This marker for liquid masking gum is delivered in a shell to protect it in case of transport, and to facilitate its storage. Explore the many possibilities of this fine 0. 7 mm marker before painting with watercolours, gouache, Indian ink and much more.

The last vials contain a dark blue product that stains the paper.

I love Pebeo Drawing Gum but the last few bottles I've bought are staining the paper! I have been using Pebeo Drawing Gum for many years and have never had this problem. I figured there might be an issue with just one bottle so I ordered another one and it's the same dark blue color staining the paper. Makes it unusable. Here's a photo showing some of the gum from my old bottle compared to the two new bottles I'm returning.

Great for painting

I've had bad luck with masking fluid before, but this worked great! The stain in the lower right corner came from my impatience to wait for that area to dry completely. As you can see it did an excellent job of masking the area where I applied the liquid. The liquid was not dry, the bottle was full and looks brand new and in perfect condition. Like any masking fluid, it has a slight odor. I'm prone to migraines and personally it wasn't a problem for me because it's not bad unless you stick your

Easy to remove, no mixing required

This product works great! It doesn't need to be stirred as often as other concealers I've used (stir rather than shake to avoid blisters). Also, I can blow dry the painting a bit without worrying about it sticking to the paper. First I put a little dish soap on my brush to protect it and the masking liquid is easy to remove when I'm done. I used this to ensure the masking liquid was completely dry before applying watercolor to it and to ensure the paint was completely dry before removing the…

Colors paper blue, difficult to remove

I usually use Windsor & Newton masking fluid. I wanted to try this one because of the blue hue which I thought would be easier to see and work with and I saw the artist I follow use it. Well it's awful and I'll never order it again - it turns the paper blue every time I use it. I use high quality 100% cotton watercolor paper and it smudges every time just like the cheaper paper. It leaves a faint blue tint (but enough to be noticed) on the paper, which totally defeats the purpose of using a…

Great chewing gum!

I am new to watercolor painting and have never used an eraser. I had this idea for a birthday card and it had to use chewing gum. I didn't want to spend more than 10€ and it was perfect. It's very runny, not sure why others have complained about this, faulty batches do happen and with Revain's return policy returns are easy. It dries fairly quickly, is completely transparent but not so far that you can't see it at all. . The downside to quick drying is that you have to work fast or it will…
