Colors paper blue, difficult to remove

I usually use Windsor & Newton masking fluid. I wanted to try this one because of the blue hue which I thought would be easier to see and work with and I saw the artist I follow use it. Well it's awful and I'll never order it again - it turns the paper blue every time I use it. I use high quality 100% cotton watercolor paper and it smudges every time just like the cheaper paper. It leaves a faint blue tint (but enough to be noticed) on the paper, which totally defeats the purpose of using a masking fluid as you want to protect those areas so they stay bright white. In addition, it is very difficult to remove. It is the most difficult to separate and never fully separates, which I can usually do with a Windsor and Newton fairing. I have to rub and rub and end up getting blisters on my fingers from erasing (the eraser doesn't work). So if you use a lot of masking fluid, don't waste your money on it.
