I use this fan every day. No matter how long it's been running, or even if I quickly switch from hot to cold, it always works great. One note everyone should know is to only plug it directly into an outlet. DO NOT connect this appliance to an extension cord, it will overheat and catch fire. This is actually my second fan because I unknowingly abused the first one.

My order was on time. and in time. This is one of the best insulators. I already have a PELONIS fan/heater. and loved it. This is a larger version with a handy carry handle on the back. It's easy to set up controls and works exactly how you set it up. Turns on and off as it should. If I ever need a heater again. I will definitely order one more of these. I recommend this product to anyone who needs to thaw pipes or whatever.

Fan only blows at very low speed even at high speed. It's 50 degrees in the room and I set the temperature to 85 degrees and turned the fan on high. It hardly blows. There is no noticeable difference between a low heating rate and a high heating rate. Very little performance. Tried in different rooms and outlets. No, I am not using an extension cord or surge protector. Do not buy. I contacted customer service but they were unable to contact the manufacturer. Counting.

It doesn't generate heat instantly like some, but it releases heat gradually and quietly enough to warm up a cold room faster than you think. I have a Vornado Heater is slightly larger but works very similarly, although the Vornado is much louder. I use it as a 13 x 24 channel add-on, but it never gets that loud. warm, like the original parts of the house. The Pelonis does a great job of making the room comfortable, not overwhelming heat, more like "just right".

I have had other Pelonis heaters which I really liked. I was hesitant to take this one as the control settings are slightly different than what I've used in the past. I love that it still has high/low cooling and heating settings, which is great. What sucks is that when it heats up (be it low or high) it shuts itself off after about 5 minutes, probably due to the "overheat protection" feature.
