Description of ๐Ÿ”Œ Premium 8-Foot Clear and Flexible Hose: Kink-Resistant and Durable

Safe for salt and freshwater aquatic environments. Standard 3/16 inch diameter tubing is great for all your aquarium airline needs. Made from clear, flexible plastic. This airline tubing is built to last and withstand wear and tear. It is also resistant to kinking. Flexible plastic makes this tubing a breeze to work with. Great for use with aquarium ornaments or bubblers and many filters. Fits seamlessly in any home aquarium and virtually disappears in the water. Non-toxic so it will not harm your fish. You will not have to constantly replace old, broken tubing when you buy Penn Plax. It is ultra durable and will not become brittle or crack in time.

so hard to attach adapters to it

I wish there was a collection of plastic adapters to fit this tube. This hose is difficult to fit into the correct size adapter. the hose is a little tight. I had to stretch and grease the inside of the hose to connect the adapter. It is very flexible, so we can only push the water, not pull it.

Don't waste time, buy something else.

I bought this to install a new sponge filter tank. When I received it and tried to plug it in, I found that the tub is the same size as the part it slides on. The outer diameter of the product is 1/8 inch. The price I paid I stretched with heat but it's a junk tube.

It's not worth it! good for aquarium pumps and filters

I bought this because it was very reasonably priced and I think you get what you pay for. Getting to the nozzles for my air pump was extremely difficult, so I took a pair of scissors and tried to make the hole bigger so I could fit it. The line was not very flexible so it protruded from the tank. I ended up replacing all of those hoses with silicone hoses and I love the silicone!

Good service hose

Okay, I don't have an aquarium and probably never will. But it's a great tube for many other uses. I bought this to attach wires that need to be in a high contact area and I wanted to protect it but still be able to see if the insulation was damaged. It's flexible but stiff enough not to warp, very affordable, and the cardboard packaging makes it easy to keep it hooked until the next time I need it.

Does the job well! And it FITS air pumps/air vents/foam filters etc.

That does the job well. Some people find it doesn't fit with an air pump or foam filter/air stone. It fits, you only need to take a few minutes to put it on. not only does it slip on quickly, and there's a reason for that. If applied quickly, it will not be as reliable and tight as it should be. Be patient when placing it on the air pump/air stone/sponge filter. I promise you it fits.

Too small to try on

Was a good price but if you can't use it what's good about it? I saw the reviews but thought I could make it work. I have had aquariums all my life and I have a lot of experience with all things freshwater aquarium products. I always soaked my hoses with hot water before putting them on pumps or air stones, but these hoses still had to be pulled over a screwdriver after being heated in hot water and it still felt that way like breaking the plastic outlet on the pump to try to get it fullyโ€ฆ

VERY thin walled. for aquarium pumps and filters

I bought this hose to connect an air pump to an inexpensive Tetra brand filter. I had a little trouble getting it to the air pump, but it was very difficult to attach to the filter. Admittedly, the hose on the filter that the line should attach to is actually too big to fit in a standard aquarium hose. In fact, this filter tube has the same outside diameter as this PennPlax tube. I didn't expect this to be a big problem as I often run smaller hoses over the brew fittings. A little warm water or

Thick hose with slight learning curve

I have dealt with small plastic hoses in the past where the entry point to the tub seemed too small to fit the nozzle/nipple end of an air stone or pump, so did this a hose... There's a reason the entry point of the hose is so narrow... The reason is that the hose is plastic/small to fit better and have less leakage. Eventually, water will start to ooze out because it won't stop stretching. I need to know, that's why I bought this plastic tube as a spare... So. To solve the problem of the hoseโ€ฆ
