I've seen dog breeders use these so I bought a couple for a litter of kittens I was raising. They were too big so I gave them to the Humane Society that I raise.

I am a cat rescue director and rescued a litter of seven orange tabby kittens and another litter of three red tabby kittens from an animal shelter a few months ago. These collars have helped me keep track of which kittens need medication. , special meals etc. I have already ordered again.

I would not use it on dogs under a week old as they are longer and the tails stick out and loosen. I've used them for 2 weeks though either they worked great, easy to set up and no sores from them! Make sure you tighten them enough to avoid snagging, but loose enough to play with

Bought these for a litter of kittens I have been raising and they were beautiful! I had to trim them down as the kittens were only a week old when I received them, but I left just enough for them to be adjusted as they grow. A few of them fell off as they wore out but they mostly lasted the 9 weeks that I had.

One litter, eleven puppies and I'm reaching for these collars again. I keep them a little long for easy adjustment as the puppies grow. Adopt, adopt, volunteer, donate. Everyone can do something for animal welfare. And please spay/neuter your pets. Give some of them to your local animal shelters and shelters for their young to be placed in foster care.

I needed a way to identify 1 month old Siamese kittens. I ordered kitty collars but they were too big/heavy. What bothered me the most was the notion that technically they could not come loose and be sharp on the edges. Neither applies to this product. They are soft all over, even in the cut (they are too long for small kittens). They are also a good combination of a secure closure but easy to release with enough pressure.
