Poor instructions. I had 4 DVRs that I am constantly updating. I got this for two entrances. It has IP camera capabilities plus BNC. However, the user interface is not easy and the software seems to be buggy. Feel free to send it back if no help from the manufacturer is possible.

So here's the thing. When I first tested this dash cam, I couldn't get a clear picture at night. For some reason the picture quality on my Hikvision worked better with the cameras I had. I have found that with a Penta Brid DVR you need to use 2MP and above to really get a clear picture. this dvr works with average cameras, but cameras are really important. now that i know You can get my 4 stars.

I almost never write negative reviews unless I have to. This DVR was designed to replace my old hybrid DVR which has served me well for many years. Unfortunately, after loading eight 2-megapixel cameras into this dash cam, the image quality began to degrade and flicker. I have a 16 channel PSU so I know it's not a power issue on my end.
