Reduces sand, silt, scale, and rust particles in residential, commercial, and municipal drinking water. Nominal filtration rating of 25 microns. Spun polypropylene for resistance to chemicals and bacteria. Initial pressure drop of 0.2 psi at a flow rate of 10 gpm. Temperature range of 40 to 145 degrees F (4.4 to 62.8 degrees C).

It's such a pleasure to order them from Revain without having to.

It's such a pleasure to order these from Revain and I don't have to go to the store where I get my water softener bought. I bet the price is good too!

perfectly working sediment filter cartridge

There is nothing to say about this cartridge other than that it works. I change it about every 3 months and it sits in front of my activated carbon filter to take some of the load off of sediment filtration. This is a great setup and both filters work perfectly.

Good for catching rust and debris that gets into house plumbing

We have used this model for a number of years and our sump does a good job of keeping debris out of our pipes. The only thing I noticed about this last order of nine filters is that they may have changed production as the latest set looks like it's looser and more airy.

OK, but not that long.

These filters seem to get dirty quicker than others we've used. Not sure why but I only get a month from them while other filters gave me two or three months from the same well. But they still filter the water perfectly.
