The top openings on my shaker were getting wetter and clogged. I needed a salt shaker that could seal itself. This one is perfect. The bottom opens easily for loading and you can see through the glass how much salt you have left. The top swivels and has four graduated holes so you can go from a small splash to a big flow in one turn. I love it. And it seals waterproof. Highly recommended.

Very well made, stylish in design and functional. The seller's description is well written and one of the things that drew me in was the mention that it was perfect for Himalayan salt. Exactly what I was looking for. The stainless steel top rotates to reveal a fully open area, large shake holes, smaller holes and two fixed positions. If I switch to using a pepper shaker, sea salt or whatever, it can be adjusted. Less expensive shakers are sold, but they are unmatched in design.

I am very disappointed with this product. It has been less than a month since I bought this product and the very small piece of plastic that connects the rotating steel lid to the 3-hole plastic lid broke (see photos). A tiny piece of plastic was found inside the shaker. We were shocked. What if we accidentally swallowed a piece of plastic? Very very dissatisfied with this product. Stay away and very dangerous.

Ingenious function thanks to adjustable filling openings. I use coarse sea salt as my main product and in order for it to flow out easily the holes need to be slightly larger than my vintage crystal salt and pepper shakers. This shaker can be used for both salt and pepper. It's no problem finding out what's inside because the bottom is made of glass.
