🚪 Residential Door Saver 01278 II by Perfect Products Review

I had to fix the door with a conventional stopper once my young man walked on it with "Hulk" and made a hole in the door. This door saver works well and will prevent this from happening again.

Great product, even better customer service. It was my fault that there were delivery problems. They were right about that and were corrected immediately. I wish more companies were this responsive.

I used this on a side door in my garage. I have an outside light where without this pin the door would slam and break it. Very easy to install and configure. A good solution at a good price.

Was looking for a hinge stopper that was different from those commonly used which dent or puncture the upholstery or door. So I have this look to try out. I've used them on 8ft exterior doors (2 per door because the doors are heavy). It helped and I had no problems.

This 'door stop' didn't even stop my door from hitting the wall even though it was set at 10 inches. My 1 year old son (who still crawls) was able to push it against the wall. I don't think it was the product, it was the concept. Stick with a regular doorstop.

I may have the wrong type of hinge (standard hinged door) but the pin is not thick enough. The big problem is that it crashes into the molding. This may not be the case if your bar doesn't reach the hinge. It also makes a loud rubbing/creaking noise (probably because it's rubbing wood).

I was going to love these sleek, eye-catching doorstops, but I found that when installed and installed in a way that prevents the door from hitting the wall, the door almost jumps into a closed position . Another issue I found was damage to the cam closest to the door frame in the trim as shown in my photo. Unfortunately they are back.

Ideal for places where doorstops cannot be used. It's MUCH cleaner in the kitchen or hallway where traditional doorstops or those mounted on hinges are an eyesore. The only catch is that they only adjust in 10-15 degree increments, so you can't "exactly" set the stopper where you need it. Luckily I was able to get it 90 degrees right here.
