The first time I use - it does not work!

I bought this 5 years ago and it sat idle in my tool box. I took it out to use yesterday and the inside is captured. I can barely get it to ratchet and it's very, very rough. Something inside is captured.

Pros
  • Setting scale for dual inch-pound and newton measurement.
Cons
  • Quality

Great tool! Suitable for wrench

I have a small engine workshop. I've been a mechanic since I was 15, now I'm 47. I needed a torque wrench that measures torque in "inches/pounds". This key works great. I tested it on high end wrenches and it clicks at the same time. I've found wrenches at Autozone and O'riellys but they range from 150 to 960 in/lbs. You really need to use a wrench that has the torque setting you need to get closer to the top end of the scale. I had to tighten the crankcase bolts to 200 in-lbs. This wrench canโ€ฆ

Works very well. Best in Power and Hand Tools

This works very well. I use it on my motorcycle. I had a Tekton 1/4" "Torque wrench, which was kind of a disaster. It costs the extra money and I'm very happy with it. I still use my Tekton 3/8" and 1/2" torque wrenches. TIPS: 1. Torque wrenches tend to be most accurate when they are in the highest power class. When buying, think about the intended use and the range of the key. 2. For 1/4" torque wrenches, go very slowly when tightening. Prevent the bolt from breaking. Most of the time, turnโ€ฆ
