I used to hook up a few wires in hard to reach places in my car. I used heat shrink tubing to protect the spliced wires and the cordless heat gun did its job well.

This heating tool was used to repair wires on a trailer wire connector. When attempting to fit the wire sleeves over the spliced wires I had to hold this heat gun in the same spot longer than when using a lighter.

Gets hot enough to work with heat shrink but I think the fan is too weak and it takes a long time to mount just one wire unfortunately not. work for what i need. It looks well done with that and I'm sure I'll find a project for it.

Purchased to soften 1/4" drip irrigation tubing for easier climbing over fittings. It's great for this and I don't have to fiddle with an extension cord and my regular heat gun. The only thing that confuses me is that the kit didn't come with instructions which I had to print out from the internet. It's easy to use once you know how the switch works.

This worked great for my purposes - it takes a while to heat what you're trying to heat, but it's better than plugging in a heat gun every time. However, less than three months after purchase, it stopped mid-use and would not turn back on. It's still charging and the indicator is green to show the battery is charged, but the device won't turn on. looser.

When I bought this attachment set for my Porter Cable hair dryer, I already knew that this set was universal.
