3 and 5 LOVE these beads

My grandkids 3 and 5 LOVE these beads. We just make a pattern and throw the beads back in the bucket because otherwise you would run out of beads. They don't understand that you can iron your design and are happy just designing. Then we take souvenir photos.

Perfect for toddlers

My eldest son loves regular fuse beads but my 2.5 year old would have a hard time (trying to do what her brother did). The answer to that question was Perler Biggie Beads and Hole Boards. Since there is no template, she can only do squares, but she still seems to enjoy the activity.

I love these big boards! My kids (4, 6, 8) prefer small beads

These are essential if you have more than one child that will be using them. They even like to connect planks to make larger items that end up looking pretty cool. The Perler BIGGIE Fun Fusion Fuse Bead Bucket beads in assorted colors are awesome, but they do NOT come with the board. Since my 6 and 8 year olds prefer the large beads over the original Perler Bucket O' Beads Fun Fusion Fuse Bead Kit- Sea Life, even though they love sea creatures, I also bought this board with pretty Perler Fused…

Even more fun than the original but limited color options.

Kids love it. I bought this for my 2 year old daughter to weave "melted beads" with her sisters. At this point, she prefers to pass the beads to the assistant rather than place them on the board herself. Older children and adults like these and larger beads. Finished creations are very durable and not easy to break. I like that you can connect two or more boards. CONS: These boards are made of transparent plastic and are quite difficult to see. Just what you need when buying large Fuse Beads

I love Fuse Beads - I met them about 30 years ago. However, I knew they wouldn't fit my young children, so I bought big ones. It was the only board option I could find at Revain at the time, and I got it cheap for about $5. For this price they are ok. Pros - they do what you need and they're big enough for you to do designs and such. They're really thick, which means they're durable, which is great (especially when used with young kids).
