For use on rigid machined flanges with less than .015 inch gap. Original Equipment Manufacurer (OEM) approved, for use where 'anaerobic' gasket is specified. Eliminates preformed, pre-cut, paper, rubber and cork gaskets. Flexes with flanges that move in service. Suggested Applications: Water pumps, thermostat housings, transmission pans, transmission case covers, transaxle casings, engine cases, timing covers, and o-ring replacement.

Works Good - Gasket

Makes an excellent baseplate gasket for 2.0L Dodge engines. I used this on an engine rebuild and it sealed well. There are no leaks and it doesn't interfere with proper play for the main bearings.

. Activator in an aerosol can with it to achieve the best metal-to-metal seal

Make sure the activator is in the spray, this can achieve the best sealing of the metal-to-metal joint. I sealed the 4WD NP306 transfer case well.

Best Flexible Sealant on the Market

We use this sealant extensively in our local tractor workshop where a resilient sealant is required. This is the best sealer we've found and we've tried many different ones. It stays flexible and doesn't dry out after several hours of application until you put the pieces together. Good product.

Great for sealing the front bearing retainer on the transmission

Used on 1991 4runner v6 4x4 transmission. This was a great sealant to use on a gearbox from a bearing keeper. I was skeptical about using this recommended product as it is very runny. Excess oil that gets into the gearbox along with the gearbox oil will not damage the gearbox. RTV Silicone Gasket Maker will damage your transmission if the excess runs off with the transmission oil.
