Great for sealing the front bearing retainer on the transmission

Used on 1991 4runner v6 4x4 transmission. This was a great sealant to use on a gearbox from a bearing keeper. I was skeptical about using this recommended product as it is very runny. Excess oil that gets into the gearbox along with the gearbox oil will not damage the gearbox. RTV Silicone Gasket Maker will damage your transmission if the excess runs off with the transmission oil.
