🔧 Permatex 80345 White Lithium Grease: Ultimate 1.5 oz. Solution for Lubrication Review

After installing a new $1,000 garage door, I was never advised to apply any lubricant to reduce the creaking when the door opened or closed. My neighbor suggested a DW40. I love this product because of the many fixes, but I googled and all I read was WD40 with silicone because it can withstand and handle many climates. I ordered the product from Revain and applied it asap and my garage door is so quiet it doesn't seem to bother me at all. I highly recommend this item!

I tested this on some old shotguns and some Sig P226 pistols. We usually use Tetra lube on everything but decided to give it a try due to the cost. That's about 1/3 the price. It's easy to use and seems to work very well. The only dilemma? HE SMELLS TERRIBLE! To be honest it really stinks! For most applications, the smell is not an issue. But my holsters picked up the smell quickly, and I really hate it. FrogLube and Tetra are much more expensive but have very little odor.

I bought this after figuring out how to fix a squeaky door hinge. I used it on a door I was looking to repair, WOW this is amazing, the door makes no noise other than the latch and the air it pushes.
