I knew my electricity would be off from 9am to 2pm. I fully charged the pump in preparation for a power outage. I installed it in my aquarium and turned it on at 8:45am. It stopped working and the battery died at 1:00 p.m. The 3 stars represent the amount of bubbles and the surface roughness it created while working.

I used this air pump while traveling halfway across the country with a dozen or so corridors with a 5 gallon bucket. I found the pump so quiet that I took it to my hotel room and it didn't bother me at all as it ran all night. All of my corridors made it safely, along with a few cherry shrimp hitchhikers, to their new homes.

Working properly after a few days; however, time will tell; like last time I bought a similar 5V USB aerator, left it plugged in overnight as the instructions said it would be fine; easy to find it burnt out after 24 hours use; so I don't recommend it! Leave the charger plugged in and the pump plugged in after it is fully charged; turn off when the red light flashes!

Bought 3 of these and they work great! Powerful dual pumps for air generation: 2 for 180 gallons and 1 for 100 gallons. I like that they work even if there is a power outage. Months have passed and they are still going strong. Gives me peace of mind knowing I've got something for my tanks when our sorties work like clockwork. I replaced the cables with longer ones to get to the power section. I will order 2 more just as backups.

So the first pump I ordered died on my 3rd fishing trip. Until then it worked great. I contacted support and they immediately offered a replacement! I have used this little gem on at least 10 trips since getting the new one and it has worked exactly as I hoped. On my most recent trip alone, I got 8 non-stop hours on a single charge, which was longer than I expected! I am very happy with this purchase, no more need to carry extra batteries in the kayak!

I bought this portable oxygen pump to keep my 35 gallon tank going during a power outage and I've been happy with it so far (we got the power in a hour restored ). It has two outlets so I was able to install pipes and an aerator on each side of the tank and they created adequate circulation in the water. I am thankful that I have something that can be charged in different ways. Only time will tell how well this machine performs during extended outages; Until then, I'm glad I have a backup.
