📋 Peterson V440-09: Universal License Bracket in Black Plastic - Ultimate Solution for Hassle-free License Display Review

This is a direct replacement for my old unit that broke. Easy to install, durable and looks like it will last forever. It is exactly the same as in the photo - without fasteners and rings for hanging the license plate. If you need a new holder, this will fit your trailer.

Screws are not included and I didn't expect they were, I used 1/4"-20 x 1-1/4" screws with fender washers and a License plate attached ¾ inch long would be fine. I used large diameter washers on the back to keep the nuts from slipping through the plastic slots. As always, this is another quality product from Peterson MFG Co.

The original bracket that came with my new (less than 1 year old) cargo trailer broke off along with the license plate when I drove down the freeway. Freeway. The original strut couldn't withstand highway (wind) speeds, and the colder November temperatures here in the Northeast caused the plastic to crack. Bottom line: trip to RMV for new license plate ($$$) and bracket. Peterson makes good quality stuff. This is a sturdy plastic mount that should last a long time.
