Cute but won't last

This looked cute and seems to be a fun game. The fabric swatches don't feel very durable. I don't think it will survive the kids. My 3 yr old was interested at first but grew bored fairly quickly. I found the swatches somewhat too similar. It was hard not having a place to store the spinner to protect from damage.

Pros
  • Adorable animal illustrations: The game's charming farm animal illustrations engage toddlers and make learning fun
Cons
  • The game may not hold up well to frequent washing or cleaning

ZERO STARS: my feedback

This sounded like the perfect game for my young grands. The first one I received only had the barn. Np bc revain sent a replacement. Guess what!? It was empty, too. Sent both back and am sooo disappointed.

Cons
  • The game does not hold a child's attention for long and can be quickly forgotten

Children feel and idenify textures to get animals for their farm

In this delightful game, children rely on feeling textures to identify animals and choose the correct one. I haven't seen a game like this that relies on tactile sensitivity. As a grandma, I see this game a great choice for preschoolers in general; but as an educator, I could see this game, played in a non-threatening situation, having value with children on the autism spectrum with tactile sensory issues. Another nice feature of this game is that there is no reason to have winners or losers…

Pros
  • Stuffed Animals & Plush Toys
Cons
  • The colors and graphics on the game board and pieces are not very engaging or interesting

Fun toy. Best for ages 2-4

Very cute game. My 3 1/2 year old have fun touching all the different textures, pretending to be the animals, and making animal sounds. Even when not "playing” the game he has had fun playing with the barn and the animals. My only concern is if the spinner will hold up to a rough little boy. Good toy for the price. Lots of ways to use the game for learning

Pros
  • Improves memory: Matching the farm animals helps children improve their memory and recall skills
Cons
  • The game can become repetitive and boring quickly, leading kids to lose interest

Great Therapy Game for my opinion

Great game for young ones just learning how to spin and take turns. It's also multi-sensory and teaches vocabulary and labeling. I'm a speech pathologist and really like this idea. Easy to transport, light to carry. You may have to model putting your hand into the hole several times if kids are hesitant. I've also hid the animals around the room and they need to find them when the spinner lands.

Pros
  • HOW TO PLAY: Spin the spinner, feel the texture it lands on, then reach inside the barn to find a match. Supports tactile awareness, introduces matching skills, and builds vocabulary and language skills. Includes barn, 6 textured animals, and a textured "touch and feel" spinner. Animals include a sateen pig, cotton sheep, synthetic-leather cow, mesh snake, synthetic-mink rabbit, and bumpy toad
Cons
  • The game is not very challenging and doesn't require much problem-solving or critical thinking

My toddler loves this game

My son is obsessed with barns and loves playing games. It's definitely a huge hit. My only complaint is the rubber cover that screws onto the barn broke off after my 2yo put his hand in to fish for a piece. Nothing some super glue can't fix. Overall very happy with the game.

Pros
  • 2 - 5 months
Cons
  • The instructions are confusing and not very clear, making it difficult for parents to explain to preschoolers
