In this delightful game, children rely on feeling textures to identify animals and choose the correct one. I haven't seen a game like this that relies on tactile sensitivity. As a grandma, I see this game a great choice for preschoolers in general; but as an educator, I could see this game, played in a non-threatening situation, having value with children on the autism spectrum with tactile sensory issues. Another nice feature of this game is that there is no reason to have winners or losers. Children can just play and get animals. There doesn't have to be the compulsion to get the most. Just let the kids have fun and then return all the animals and start again. Recommended.
