🔧 Enhanced Efficiency and Reliability with PETZL Caritool Evo: A Comprehensive Review Review

I clipped it to my tool bags to make hanging clamps easier. It's not for its intended purpose, but it works very well. I had no problems with that.

The Caritool evo worked great on my caterpillar harness when the regular caritool I have wasn't working on the thick leather of the caterpillar harness like it does on my arborist's saddle. So far the Evo is holding up quite well.

The only downside to using these ice drills in my ice drills is that they aren't very strong. It doesn't usually matter because you're not actually torturing them or anything. It's just a design flaw that I think can be fixed. For that 4 stars.

I've been waiting for this product for years! It is easier to attach to different types of tool belts and works great. I've used it to hold wrenches, Impact Guns gloves, hats and anything else you can think of. I highly recommend this product to everyone!

Let's not sit here and pretend it's a great product, it's not flimsy, it's plastic, it's not durable and it won't last long, we will. It works, but it's not ideal for forest work and climbing. It's cheap so it gets points but if I had known earlier how cheap it was I would have spent the money on a solid metal product.

I love this version of Caritol. This is way better than the smaller Petzl (the little ones seem to roll in my Caritool adapter on both of my straps). The size of the baseplate and the fact that you can attach it to any harness makes this a great product in my opinion. It's even big enough to fit 2 ice climbers and still have room. This is the second one I bought to replace the smaller Petzl.

There is no better alternative to ice climbing. Easy insertion and removal, excellent holding power, convenient top shelf makes it easy to select the screw you want. Unfortunately the wire mesh came loose during the climb and I was starting to lose gear before I knew it. It's a pity, because this shortcoming can be easily remedied by attaching through holes and riveting the wire ends in the same way as with wire snap carabiners.
