She held on to: Ice and snow grips

I thought, boy, that's pretty cool ice, but I took a French step forward like it was nothing with those little ones on my boots.

Very good!: Ice and snow grips

I didn't buy these from Amazon but they are fantastic. You should not only use them for mountaineering. You can use them for hiking, they go with any boot or shoe!

Pros
  • Great for a small house

Just great cats

Very happy with Vasaks. They are very easy to install and fit my batteries perfectly. Lightweight, very predictable and stable on snow, ice and rock. These are my favorite bridges; I highly recommend them.

Standard for general climbing irons.

I bought these for winter climbing on snowy easy to moderate technical climbs. (And of course we hope there will be more in the future). They were very sure. He clung to snow and ice, let him climb / climb with confidence. Used with LaSportiva Nepals. I noticed that the front strut on one of them got a bit stuck in my boot, but I think it was iced up or I loaded it weirdly. However, this did not detract from the security of the binding and it stayed firmly on my shoe all day.

Protected me on and off the snowy trail

Used them on the San Gorgonio Vivian Creek Trail via High Creek in the snow (7 miles in Southern California). Snow covered the switchbacks so they went straight up and down the gorge section of the ridge on a fairly steep slope. The micro-studded friend was basically gliding through the snow in such a tight clump; I'm stuck in cats like glue. I left them on for 10k shifts and climbed to the top. They are also stable on ice - the teeth really dig in. Easy to use, lightweight, NO snowballs even…

Petzl crampons allowed

1) Are you frustrated with your micro-studded chain links breaking when you walk in them? 2) You want to be able to navigate much more aggressive trails on snow and ice, what can you safely do with micro lugs? 3) Do you have really great boots that you like but don't fit the toggle crampon system? Then these FlexLock cats are for you! Don't trust your life to a pair of $30 micro rivets. Get the real deal. It's worth the money. They are impressively well built. They are so easy to set up and fit

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
