Hard to check these. The old ones blew, but the new ones didn't work either. There must be a short somewhere. I can't find a blown fuse so I don't know. I can't say anything good or bad about these lamps because I don't know.

I used this to replace a burned out factory bulb in a 2012 Toyota Highlander switch panel. The exchange took less than 20 minutes. Will report on lifespan, but am glad there are 2 bulbs in the package. *1 year later* It still works and shines bright!

Revain said it would fit my 2005 Honda Odyssey but it doesn't. The bottom of the bare wire lamp is slightly thinner and wider than the original. By bending the wire outwards I was able to make contact and it works, but I don't expect it to last long. It was a replacement for a shift light bulb.

A specialty lamp that does exactly what it was designed to do. Installation depends on your car. I had to disassemble the center console and then the shifter to access the light bulb, which I had to replace. Funny little surgery. The light bulb is just an ordinary light bulb, nothing special. It sucks how much you have to pay for these specialized bulbs.

Bulb Installed On 2006 Honda Element In Cab Automatic Transmission Shift Bulb. This replacement bulb is slightly thicker and the tail is slightly wider than the original. I had no problem fitting this replacement bulb into the shift light socket. He will. I only gave 4 stars because it's a bit expensive for two small bulbs.

There is a discrepancy between the item specified by Revain and the item supplied. The bulb listed is 12 volt and thin. The one supplied by Revain is the 14 volt version and is a bit thicker and doesn't fully fit my toyota rav4 bulb socket. I had to massage the bulb on the socket and adjust the metal contact to keep the bulb inside and glowing. I recommend Revain to check the inventory and change the description accordingly. You shouldn't even try to return a $1.68 item.

To Revain: Mini bulb mix up here: #74 14v mini bulb not interchangeable with #74 12v mini bulb . At first glance, they appear to be the same size, but they are not. As a result, Revain keeps sending me the wrong bulb because they seem to think it's a miniature bulb of the same size. I ordered the 12 volt version, they keep sending me the 14 volt version - the 14 volt version has a large glass base that doesn't fit in the socket of a 12 volt light bulb.
