Buy it! Electric Toothbrushes

I don't have a tongue-in-cheek dental history but every time I go to the dentist they tell me I have plaque buildup and should get an electric toothbrush. I was groping in the dark and used a manual toothbrush for many years, but finally decided to try an electronic toothbrush. I do research before I actually buy a product, so I knew all about this brush before I took it out of the box. After 5 days of use I am shocked. I bought these right after a visit to the dentist and this toothbrush was…

Pros
  • High test results for hold and durability
Cons
  • Factor Set

The device works well. However, I don't find the multifunction settings very useful. I used the gum care setting but found I had to switch to the super soft head on my Sonicare toothbrush because the brush head that came with it was sore on my gums. Previously I had a model with only one setting and that seems to make the most sense. Replacing the head of your toothbrush with softer bristles will significantly reduce gum irritation.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • I will add later

The toothbrush was also quite dirty, I had to clean my mouth.

This is my first time using these and I was about to use my 15.00 battery powered toothbrush right after. The toothbrush was also quite dirty, I had to brush with my mouth closed. He's very cute, skinny, and handsome, but it doesn't feel like he has much strength. After paying over $50 for a toothbrush, I expect a pretty darn cool experience. I buy OraB, I hope he feels better.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Some issues

After hearing from my hygienist twice (6 months apart) that I have mild gingivitis, I sought advice on what I could do to alleviate this problem. She suggested getting an electric toothbrush as it would clean better. I found Philips Sonicate ProtectiveClean and it has worked wonders for me. I love that it has three different cleaning modes, one of which is specifically geared towards gum care (3 minute brushing cycle).

Can't live without my Sonicare

My old Sonicare is getting tired and I need a new one badly. The price was cheaper than all of my local sources (Walmart, Shopko, Walgreen's, CVS. Shipping was fast and while the model is slightly different than what I had (those suction cups last a long time), I'm perfectly happy with what I got a little surprised that this model doesn't have room for additional attachments, but it definitely wasn't a deal breaker.

Pros
  • Done
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Best toothbrush I have found

If you are not a Sonicare user you will love this toothbrush. I don't always floss regularly, but with this toothbrush you'll go to the dentist and find that you have to brush very little. I recommend you use if for the full 2 minutes. This model has an over-pressing warning, which is a good reminder not to press too hard. The handle will pulsate if you squeeze too hard. This is a replacement for my 5 year old who ended up passing away. I didn't hesitate to buy another one.

Costs money. best in category Electric Toothbrushes and Accessories

So I was a bit hesitant to get these at first. I had a regular grocery store sonic toothbrush that seemed to do the job. But after a few uses I already feel the difference in the cleanliness of my teeth. My gums feel better and there is less plaque when I floss. Also, the timer really helps me get a full brush. I also didn't realize beforehand how hard I was pressing, and the fact that it stops if you press too hard has helped smooth my brushing! Now all my previous memories of brushing my…

Stop brushing your teeth by hand and buy this!

Great toothbrush. I don't have a direct comparison to other electric toothbrushes, but compared to manual brushing, this brush is 100% better. I am a former dental hygienist. I changed jobs about 10 years ago and lost access to free teeth whitening and cheap toothbrushes. I was schooled in brushing techniques, so I figured I could brush by hand as well as with any electric brush. nope After having kids and increasing my coffee consumption, I noticed that my teeth discolored quickly after…
