Best Recording Brush - Brushes

I first tried the carbon fiber brush which is the most visible brush at Revain. I decided to place a bright flashlight on the record with a carbon fiber brush. Even if you brush the side of the record to dust the record, fine dust particles will remain in the grooves. The carbon fiber brush just pushes the dust forward. Worse, the brush sheds bristles. Usually they are not visible because they are black. Then I tried the Redeker brush. It is about 2 cm longer. The bristles are much longer and…

Collects dust - and leaves behind records.

Firstly, if you don't clean the tag as well, this brush is about 1" long. If you are not careful, you will damage the cartridge. Secondly, it absorbs a lot of dust, but does not allow you to remove it from the record. Too flexible. They lie on the record almost exactly on the surface of the record, with minimal effort. You can end up "cleaning" the plate with the sides of the brush and not the tips. This is just another scam continued by the record industry to lure the uninformed that a "goat"…

Not suitable for cleaning

Not a fan of this brush at all. The bristles are too soft and flexible. It would be better for dusting your records, but not for a nice scrubbing or wet cleaning. It's also unusually large. If you put it on a slab, it will also cover part of the label, which is quite strange. Usually most plate brushes aren't big enough to cover any part of the label and don't even reach the dead wax.

Pros
  • EXTRA-SOFT GOAT HAIR: Two layers of extra-soft bristles gently remove dust, dirt and other fine particles for high sound quality; Flexible goat hair bristles gently but effectively clean natural antistatic; won't scratch delicate surfaces
Cons
  • Tears a little

Collects dust - and leaves behind records.

First, if you don't intend to clean your label as well, this brush is about 1 inch long. If you are not careful, the cartridge assembly will be damaged. Second - it collects a lot of dust, but does not allow you to remove it from the disk. - Third - There are no instructions in the manual for cleaning the brush or instructions for removing dust from the record. Fourth - The bristles are too flexible. .They lay flat on the record with minimal effort. You can "clean" the record with the sides of…
