Just what I needed to polish my model car. The soft steering wheel does not scatter after a short break-in period. I usually spin these buffing wheels at 3000-5000 rpm with a small cordless hand tool. There's a bit of "lint" coming off each wheel at first, but after that they seem to grip well. If you are looking for a soft, non-aggressive polishing pad, this is it.

DO NOT BUY FOR USE WITH DREMEL TOOLS! They are! I assumed the reviewers used them incorrectly or were just plain incompetent. My apologies to these reviewers. I have no idea if they work. They will NOT fit my Dremel 4000. Save your money and look for another polishing tool unless bullshit is your thing.

Love these little buffers. They're smaller in diameter than your regular rotary tool, so make sure you can fit a new mandrel to accommodate the smaller metal shank. I've used them on polymer clay, wood and stone. They work great, but be aware that when you FIRST TIME use them, cotton will fly everywhere.
