You can never get enough of that. My 6 and 8 year old kids love building different things out of it. Also, they're a good size, so it's not the same as stepping on mini Lego pieces.

For some reason all the magnets repel each other, they don't let us build anything unless they lay flat. We have another brand that seems to be working fine but this set seems to be defective.

Oh my god my grandkids love this from childhood to at least 7 years old! They have been using a different set for years and this set was an addition to the old set. You don't just build them yourself, you use them along with train sets, building blocks, etc. to create other things.
