Do not buy this product. I received it yesterday, as soon as I took it out of the box the rubber seal came loose from the lid. A few fell off before I even used it.

I bought these as an alternative to Tupperware's cheaper plastic bowls. I love the bowls themselves, but the seal on the lid always sticks to the bowl so you have to put it back on the lid. it's pretty frustrating

If I could give this set zero stars I would happily do it. My hands are killing me trying to close them. You are terrible. Each of the containers I have in my fridge have a latch or two that aren't attached because I can't close them. My husband can't close it either. You are terrible.

I was looking for small borosilicate glass saucepans but they were expensive in stores and didn't find the right size. They are well designed, with a flange around the perimeter that serves as a handle and seat for sealing and a place to clamp the lid. I can use them in my toaster and in a roasting pan that is protected from direct heat by a rack.

With a 5 star rating in every category you may be wondering why I am giving this 4 stars. It's true that glass containers, if they're durable, are pretty good. I love that the rubber grommets in the lids come off easily unlike other brands I had when they first started out. The problem with this is that the lids are very difficult to put on. That means the 4 parts that "snap" onto the rim of the glass jar don't like to close. It takes a lot of effort to put them in order. Just be prepared!

DO NOT BUY. After 6 weeks of use these containers broke. For the first time I noticed that after washing in the dishwasher, strange round spots appeared on the glass. They say they can be washed in the dishwasher, but I've seen damage even on the top shelf. Then I discovered that the glass inside the food from those containers was beginning to crack at the edges. Three separate containers shattered leaving broken glass in my food and kitchen. These lasted less than a month. I can't even return…

I don't understand the complaints about this product. I've had mine for 2 months and am very happy with it. That's the deal. I do not put the lids in the dishwasher as the heat of the water and drying cycle can damage the plastic seal. I hand wash them.
