Leatherworkers beware

The first one is very much. LOTS of eyelets the size I needed because I didn't have any. Now for the BAD parts: Some of those in the package are RUSTY. Rust. Any product you make will rust on them. Poorly. they are short I could barely get them to stay in 4-5 oz vegetable tanned leather. I am using a hand press (green) with the correct setter and am off center/sharp/no locking ring on the back after pressing full force. Poorly. They are THIN and easily deformed in the press. Poorly. I spent so much money on a simple project. Order sockets for workers with hammer setting tools. From what I can see the tool and socket are better from the same manufacturer and it's easy to make a mistake with a hand hammer. I ordered a completely new press kit for my project of 100+ gasket installations. Will comment if it works. So I got myself a hand press and it worked great with the included pads and these.
