We love these, they are strong, sleep well, the curls hold their shape and don't get hot. The wires do not protrude through the fabric like others. They are very easy to use. (Doesn't matter that my son (4) styles my hair. They don't dry your hair, but they frizz your wet hair.

Like many others, DO NOT wrap your hair tightly, you literally style your hair around it with no tension. I cut my hair starting at the bottom and working my way up. Two at the back of the head, four at the center part and two rows of three at the top. You can adjust according to the density of your hair and the curl you want. Super easy to use. These curlers are very easy to use. Without any experience with roller sets, I was able to achieve the desired result on the first use. Curls lasted much longer than hot rollers or curling irons.

The only thing I would say is that the foam inside the fabric is quite short which allows the flexible wire inside to twist at the ends so there are no big curls just little spirals that make the wave on my hair comb through hair.

I really like the concept of these curlers - hot curlers, very similar to using towels to curl hair but simpler. I have very thick hair (just past my shoulders) and had a lot of leftover curlers. I should have bought a set with fewer parts. They're easy to use and not too bad for sleep. You stay safe all night. I used a setting lotion and the next morning they were very firm. If you want "normal" curls, don't use hair conditioners. But when I use the lotion it was good for tight horse curls the first day and loose curls for the next few days. Even after washing it still looked good.
