They are designed for heavy-duty applications. They keep their settings very well. I would definitely recommend them to anyone working with wood or steel.

I use these calipers for wood turning projects. As long as they fit the money and appear solid enough. Although they are so long or tall that I'm afraid they might bend. Handle them with care and keep them away from danger areas and I suspect they will last for quite a while.

The set came packaged in bubble wrap and thin cardboard which was a bit disappointing for the tools which are supposed to have some accuracy. I had to bend two of these to make ends meet, but they are holding up properly now. They adapt easily and keep their distance. So they're good for the price, but not great. For what I do, some basic woodwork, they work well.
